History of BACNA
Continuing A Legacy
By virtue of it being the first NA community in India, Bombay Area has had the privilege of hosting several of the first NA Conventions. We have been freely and fully supported by members from all NA communities in India and outside.

Our Story
Ever since 1992, when we had our first Convention, Bombay Area has maintained its practice of having conventions full of warmth, unity, purpose and modesty. With a view to include as many members as possible into the experience of an NA convention, Bombay Area has done its best to make conventions accessible and affordable to the average member. BACNA-XVI will be continuing the same tradition.
Earliest Memories
Some memories of BACNA-II (1993)
Since the first convention, Bombay Area has given utmost importance to the soul of any convention, which is the Program. Exploring a variety of topics and formats, every Bombay Convention has tried it's best to have a healthy mix of recovery oriented program for newcomers and oldtimers alike.
Also, at all BACNAs, we have provided safe space for women members to have their special meetings. Moreover, there have been empowering workshops on various aspects of both, service and recovery.
Of course, we have not held back on the fun part - entertainment, games, music and dance well into the night plugged and unplugged and have provided a platform to many an aspiring artist.
Most importantly, Bombay conventions have always been infused with plenty of warmth and love for that memorable experience.
